My second day of using a random starter rather than my three set opening words went about as well as it did yesterday – by which I mean it was close to a disaster. Today, I ended up needing eight guesses to solve the four answers. And again, that was on a day when it shouldn't have been too tricky today; there's a repeated E in SWEET, but no other major complications.

I guess the conclusion here is that I've had my strategy for years for a reason: it works! I'll give it one more go tomorrow, but that's about it.

How did you do today? Send me an email and let me know.

An avid photographer, Marc likes nothing better than taking pictures of very small things (bugs, his daughters) or very big things (distant galaxies). He also enjoys live music, gaming, cycling, and beating Wordle (he authors the daily Wordle today page).
