  • ANGST
  • SUAVE
  • MAYBE
  • PLUMP

More great words served up by Quordle today. ANGST is a good one – it has four consonants in a row, which is not particularly common at all. As per my analysis of every Wordle answer – which is likely to be similar to Quordle's – there are 12 of the original 2,309 solutions that contain five consonants (they all have a Y, which acts as a vowel in them), plus a further 18 that either have a vowel at the start followed by four consonants, or vice-versa. So that's 30 out of 2,309, or 1.3% of all games.

I also like PLUMP, which is one of I think only five words that begins and ends with a P; hat tip if you can identify the others. It's also a nice word to say. Go on, try it. Lovely eh?
