Evelyn and I were best friends. I first met her when she came to my doll shop to buy wigs, etc. for the many dolls she was restoring. She then started making her own. When I needed to close the shop and was faced with having my molds disposed of, she graciously offered to take them and save them. We attended many estate and yard sales, looking for items for antique dolls and items for her many doll houses. I never knew her to be idle. When we sat down to watch a movie, she worked on a rug or some other project she had under way. She loved her farm and all the memories she had of living there. Who else would drive so many miles to feed cats that had been dropped off by uncaring owners? She would sometimes accompany me as I drove to remote areas in my work. She delighted in the scenes of the mountains and lakes. I cannot express how much I will truly miss her.

Frances was such a sweet lady. I will miss her dearly. I take comfort in knowing that she loved the Lord, and served him and his people right to the very end. We know she is much more happy now. Soon we shall meet again!! Love you Frances!!!
