5 Forma Yareli Build by ParoParoParoParo - !NOT BEGINNER FRIENDLY! Yarelicor/Dual Toxareli - Overframe (2024)

This is an immortal build for Yareli that synergises with Merulina K-Drive, [Ocucor] with [Sentient Surge], or [Dual Toxocyst] Incarnon.
Related components for this build: Ocucor, Dual Toxocyst, Shade, Verglas.

Addressing The Elephant In The Room

Why don't you use the new [Loyal Merulina] augment?

This is just my opinion and yours may differ, but the benefits of riding Merulina instead of having her as a companion outweigh the benefits of being on foot. I believe that if you don't like K-Drive, [Yareli] is not the frame for you.

First of all, when riding Merulina, she and you are considered one single entity. This means that Merulina herself cannot be directly targetted by attacks, making her a much more robust layer of protection than that which is offered by a [Loyal Merulina].

Secondly, while riding Merulina, you gain immunity to being knocked down or staggered, and status effects whose source is from the ground (magnetic and health leech) will not affect you either. As a bonus, you also float on water surfaces.

Did you know Hijack objectives also drain Merulina instead of your shields?

Helminth

Subsume

For our subsume we are going to use Gloom as it synergises well with combat discipline and Merulina. There are some added bonuses like being 20x more protected from melee attacks, and providing a life-steal to nearby allies.

Archon Shards

For our archon shards, we will be using 2 Emerald "Bonus Corrosive Stacks" shards to full strip with our Heat/Corrosive [Ocucor]. However, as of the Jade Shadows update capping enemy armour to 27k, I believe this set up is going to become obsolete. We will see, and I will update the guide once I am certain.

The other 3 slots will be taken by Topaz "Increased Secondary Critical Chance Upon Killing Heat Afflicted Enemy" shards.

The build may end up using 4 Topaz with 1 Tauforged Emerald, or perhaps 5 Topaz. It all depends on how practical partial strip really becomes.

The Mods And How They Play Their Part

[Combat Discipline]
Every time you or your companion kills an enemy, this aura causes you to lose 10 health. Don't worry though, 90% of that damage is absorbed by Merulina, meaning that you only take 1 damage per kill, and because Gloom heals both you and Merulina, you won't even notice it. The damage caused here is used to trigger Arcane Avenger, which adds a final critical chance bonus of 45% to all of your attacks.

[Preparation]
An optional quality of life addition, this mod prevents you from having to [Scavenge] up some energy or health orbs before you can activate gloom and Merulina.

Blind Rage
We aren't casting very many abilities with this build, it's mostly about firing secondary weapon while moving on K-Drive, so we don't really care about our abilities being expensive. In fact, having expensive sea snares benefits us as it replenishes more shields and overshields via [Augur Message]'s set bonus.

[Narrow Minded]
Duration is super useful for our conditional buff from the [Merulina Guardian] augment and reduces the cost per second per enemy of Gloom. However, the real reason we use this is that we do not want a high range Gloom depleting all our energy by ensnaring too many enemies at once.

[Primed Continuity]
Like [Narrow Minded], this gives us more duration for [Merulina Guardian] and reduces the cost per second per enemy of Gloom.

[Equilibrium]
This mod alone can produce enough energy economy to support this build.

[Adaptation]
Stacks with the damage reduction gained by riding Merulina, giving [Yareli] a final damage reduction of 99.5% on her shields and 99.25% on her health.

[Merulina Guardian]
Using Sea Snares on a group of enemies and then killing them will begin the cascading effect of [Combat Discipline] dealing damage to you, Merulina then soaking 90% of the damage and being healed by the Sea Snares affected enemy's death, resulting in 55 seconds of +200% fire rate and +200% reload speed. The reload speed is irrelevant for the [Ocucor] version, but this buff really shines with the [Dual Toxocyst], helping you to charge and expend the incarnon form.

[Augur Message]
As with [Narrow Minded] and [Continuity], this gives us longer [Merulina Guardian] buffs and reduces the cost per second per enemy of Gloom.

[Precision Intensify]
The type of [Intensify] you use is entirely up to you, there is a trade off between buffing all of your abilities or only buffing Gloom. I prefer [Precision Intensify], personally, as it results in a 95% slow effect for any enemies trapped inside your range, protecting you greatly from melee attacks.

How to play - Ocucor version

Yarelicor basically plays itself. Start off by activating Gloom, then begin riding Merulina. The Ocucor's Sentient Surge has to be ramped up by making 4 initial kills - Sea Snare and aim for the head, this will activate Arcane Precision. 14 stacks of corrosive will make quick work of even the hardiest of steel path enemies. Once you've made your first 2 or 3 kills, Ocucor will start devouring anything near your crosshairs - no aiming required! Just make sure you keep moving to make use of Yareli's passive 200% additional critical chance.

How to play - Dual Toxocyst version

This version requires that you own a riven similar to the one in the build for your [Dual Toxocyst], as it relies on having more effects on a single mod or the performance drops off a cliff. If you're lucky enough (or whale enough), just charge your incarnon with the assistance of Gloom's 95% slow or Sea Snares and go BRRRRRR. The entire incarnon magazine can be expended in 5 seconds with the fire rate from [Merulina Guardian] and [Amalgam Furax Body Count]!

Additional Components

The build can be enhanced by using an [Ambush] Shade. [Manifold Bond] will make [Shade] spam its [Ghost] precept ability, giving you short bursts of additional weapon damage. As you cast Sea Snares, the expended energy will also trigger [Shade]'s [Duplex Bond], causing 3 cloned sentinels to wander around looking for enemies to shoot with the Verglas beam rifle.

Speaking of the [Verglas]; this companion rifle is extremely powerful. With a 95.2% chance to cause a status effect, firing 120 rounds per second (taking multishot into account), the clones will keep your cascadia flare maxed out indefinitely.

Please Enjoy

This build is the product of one nerd's obsession with making a vastly underrated warframe extremely viable all the way to level cap. If you have any questions about the build, or any suggestions on how it can be further improved, feel free to leave a comment. Otherwise I hope this build serves you well and Good Luck Tenno!
